COVID-19 Information
Dear Members and Visitors,
We understand the strain of the Coronavirus on everyone’s personal and professional lives. We’ve heard from many of you on the impact of projects being postponed or cancelled. Our healthcare owners budgets have been impacted due to cancellations of elective surgeries.
There is good news from many of our owners that most projects under construction have continued and without the spread of COVID-19. Both the owners and associate members have implemented safety measures to meet guidelines, which has clearly worked well. The owners are also very hopeful to see projects move forward in the coming months. Demand is still high for services and for products, which means our industry will rebound quickly.
Now the question is when will the County and City be lifting it’s stay-at-home order? Will it be mid-May and what will this mean to going back to a work environment, to gatherings, and to business as usual? We hope to help with some of these questions via our
COVID-19 webinar on May 14th. Please join this FREE webinar for all members.
We are also looking for your comments and updates as always. Let us know what is helpful to you. We will continue to revise our calendar to fit the needs for our membership and for our program/event visitors.
Thank you for all of you who have reached out, participated on our calls and continue to help serve the SLCCC. This is certainly unlike any other crisis and with the unprecedented times, we are restructuring how we can be the best value to you. It’s my fervent hope we will quickly resume activities as close to normal as possible. The SLCCC is a valuable resource and will need your support more than ever in the future.
Please be safe and healthy!
My best,
Kelly Jackson
