Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Business Development Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving new business growth through strategic planning and implementation of sales and marketing initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry, client relationship management, and a proven ability to close deals and achieve new revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the construction industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and position our services effectively.
  • Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to develop effective sales strategies and differentiate our offerings.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in business development within the construction industry, with a demonstrated ability to generate revenue and drive growth.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, estimatation procedures, project management, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
