SLC3 Key Committees

Executive (Owner ONLY)

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SLC3, the staff, and ensuring sustainability and financial health.

CHAIR: MICHAEL HARGRAVE, BJC HEALTHCARE (PRESIDENT)

Training and Education

Develops and coordinates continuing education programs and seminars.

Diversity 

Assesses and promotes diversity and inclusion in the construction industry.

Membership

Membership committee engages with members and increases membership.

Health & Safety

Develops programs to enhance safety, promote job security, and eliminate substance abuse.

Awards Gala & Board Installation

Promotes use of construction industry best practices with individual and company recognition.

Workforce

Develops strategies to address workforce needs and to discuss common needs in the region. This committee is not currently meeting but it is building up. If you are interested, please contact us.

Emerging Leaders

Provides a means for our emerging leaders to create platforms, programs and events around our overall mission.

Women’s Leadership

Women’s leadership hosts monthly luncheons for the purpose of self-development training and education. Other activities for networking are also planned.

Strategic Planning

 Meets in person to discuss the planning and reviewing of the SLC3’s operations and draft of the strategic plan that the Board then approves.

Sporting Clays

Promotes interaction in a non-business setting to enhance industry communication and relationships. Held in Fall each year at Top Gun Sportsman Club!

Golf

Promotes interaction in a non-business setting to enhance industry communication and relationships. Held the 1st Monday in May each year. About 30+ members on this committee.
