The St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers (SLCCC) was awarded the “Outstanding Transportation Partner of the Year” Award by the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) during its annual Civil Rights Contractor Compliance / DBE Training Symposium on Feb 8-9, 2016 at the University of Missouri.

The goal of the Civil Rights Contractor Compliance/ DBE Training Symposium was to strengthen the Equal Employment Opportunity programs of both MODOT and Missouri businesses by encouraging the development of a diverse workforce. The workshop provided Prime Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) with tools and knowledge to enhance the growth of their businesses.
