CII BEST PRACTICES

SLC3 Best Practice Submission Form 2022
INSTRUCTIONS: There are (17) CII Best Practices. This form is to be used for your submittal. Choose (2) maximum Best Practices by checking the appropriate boxes below. There is a space below the questions of each Best Practice to provide your response. ALL SUBMITTERS MUST USE OUR FORM!!! Be descriptive, explain and elaborate on the details that made your project a success in the categories you have chosen. Name your response using your Company Name and 2022 BP Awards.
Note, please provide with your response one high quality image in .jpg or .png format. It must be color and at least 1500 pixels and 300 dpi. The image may be used during our Awards Program. All nominees and winners will be publicized after the Gala and promoted to our community multiple times. Owners are greatly encouraging the submission of their projects for consideration. Our judges are comprised primarily of a number of our owner members. They have set the criteria based on CII Best Practices and will score all submissions on a 1-10 scoring range.
INCLUSION AWARDS
Nominations are open for the 2022 Inclusion Awards. These awards recognize the advancement of diversity and inclusion in the design and construction industry. Awards are presented for:
- Inclusion Champion
- Minority / Woman / Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
- Organizational Excellence for Inclusion
- Woman in Construction
Nominations are due by 5/13/22 to St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers, 301 Sovereign Court, Ballwin, MO. 63011. Winners will be announced at the Annual Awards Gala program on 8/23/22.
Inclusion Champion
INCLUSION CHAMPION NOM FORM 2022
Criteria:
Your nominee could be a project manager, office staff, client, customer or other colleague who has made a significant contribution or effort to promote inclusion . . . perhaps a new idea, activity or program that promotes greater use of women or minorities on a project or enhances the use of women or minority owned firms. (You may nominate yourself or another person.)
Provide a summary of the nominee’s contributions or efforts (e.g. 1 page). How has the person promoted inclusion? What programs has the person supported and by what means (e.g. financially, personally …)?
Explain ways the person encourages inclusive participation. Provide metrics:
- Outreach
- Work force development
- Mentoring
- Retention
- Project with quantified results. What were they?
Why should this person be selected?
Minority / Woman / Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
MBE ENTERPRISE NOMINATION FORM 2022
Criteria:
Nominate a Minority, Woman or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firm or supplier who has a proven track record of providing quality service, consistently meets best practices, contributes to the betterment of our region by giving back to other M/W/DBE organizations. Nominations must include specific examples.
Organizational Excellence for Inclusion
ORGANIZATIONAL EXCEL NOM FORM 2022
Criteria:
Complete the nomination form to nominate a corporation, organization or other institution. Include responses on a separate page. You may supplement your nominations with photos, graphs and testimonials, but please attach no more that two (2) additional pages. You may nominate your own organization or another organization.
How has the organization promoted inclusion? What programs has the organization supported and by what means (e.g. financially, mentoring, other resources …)? Explain other ways the firm encourages inclusive participation. Provide metrics:
- Outreach
- Work force development
- Mentoring
- Retention
- Project with quantified results. What were they?
